Slow Thanksgiving 2006















Members of Slow Food UPS celebrated Thanksgiving on November 23 with a feast that included
Salad, Pumpkin bread, Homemade Cranberry sauce, Deviled Eggs, Sweet Potatoes, Acorn Squash, Purple Mashed Potatoes, Homemade Gravy, Homemade Stuffing, Brussel Sprouts, Broccoli, and, of course, the Heritage Turkey!


Diana Hawk writes that, “The food was local, organic and homemade for the most part! For desert we had homemade pies: pumpkin, blueberry, and pecan.”
